Belvoir Vale RDA group had a fantastic afternoon celebrating their first anniversary at their new home last Sunday. It was a huge success with turnout exceeding their expectations and the horses and ponies behaving impeccably, showing the brilliant work their RDA group does. Despite the rain they also raised over £800.

The team at Belvoir Vale said “What made the day a success was the huge support received in the way of generous donations and time kindly given by our army of volunteers, without whom we would not be here!”

It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon for the group and they were delighted with all the support.

Founder of Belvoir Vale RDA and Chairman of the Trustees said of the day, “We just wanted to show our local community what we do. Given the poor weather, it was amazing so many came, we had whole families, groups of neighbours, people who were thinking of volunteering and folks who were just curious about what we were doing, it was fabulous day. You could sense their wonder at meeting our ponies and they were taken aback by the facilities. They also enjoyed having some homemade cake and tea, it was fun!”
