Niki Heath joined the Board of Trustees in the spring of 2026. Niki has been involved with Belvoir Vale RDA for over 10 years starting when it was based at the previous site in Colston Bassett. Both her children have learning difficulties, and they started riding with the group when they were 4 and 7. As far as horses are concerned, the family are kept busy with 3 ponies of their own!
Since the group moved to its new Centre in Cropwell Bishop, Niki has been an active volunteer and got more involved, volunteering mostly on a Sunday with one of her daughters who is also an RDA rider and volunteer. Niki has seen first-hand how her daughter has gained so much knowledge in horse riding & care and grown in confidence contributing so much to the Centre’s great volunteer team.
Niki lives locally and works for a leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business. She has a very varied role, front facing dealing with HR issues, customer services, exporting our products and working alongside the community.
